Growing up, I remember loving to travel with my family. Mostly our travels took us to visit family in California or Utah in the summertime. When I was 10 years old, I got to visit San Francisco and Bryce Canyon National Park with my sister Jeannie. That was exciting! As I got older, my parents branched out and took us to more distant locations such as Hawaii or Florida.

When I was 21 (a few months after my wife and I got married), we planned a dream trip to Europe. With backpacks on our backs, we traveled for two weeks by train through France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, and the UK. It was amazing to experience different cultures, see the way the people lived, what they ate, how they dressed, and the language they spoke. I was hooked on travel!

Fast forward to 2016, my sister Ruthie and I started the travel company Travel Addicts Tours which now connects people to destinations all around the world.

Now, I find myself on a trip and planning the next trip before it is over. I'm passionate about living a life where you always have a new place to go or a place to look forward to. My first travel goal was to visit the 50 United States - I accomplished that goal in 2019 (the last state was Maine). My next travel goal?.... visiting the 7 continents and then eventually all the countries in the world. It might take a while but I'll get there someday!
